Trials of Growth
Little by little, we stack and we grow.
Little by little, we fail and will slow.
And little by little, the failure grows
Into a spiral of doubt, that we come to know.
And with every failure and every fall,
We continue to rise up, above it all.
Oh failure, oh failure you are my friend.
For in due time, you start to mend.
With every scar that is left behind,
Is a mark of experience, that is uniquely signed.
And with every score, we learn to adapt.
As we draw from a well, previously untapped.
Remembering that next time you fall,
That is the brick, at the base of the wall.
A wall built tall, and tried, and true.
A wall that is the strongest you.
It is with each failure that we grow.
With every punch, we learn to flow.
And with every scar, we start to show.
That it is our hardships, which make us glow.
